Labor Day Weekend events made this well know nautical New England city a very exciting stop for us. Classic "Kennedy era" New England charm and attitude was evident everywhere.
The annual sailboat races were The Main Event.  The judges boat was officiated by white gloved attendents manning the race course flags, a woman sounding the airhorn warrning blast and my favorite, the woman sitting motionless readied to shoot the shotgun.
