Hiking out

There are 3 classes of boats, A class, 28', B class ,24,' and C class ,18'.  The sail ratio to hull is huge (In A class the mast is 60' and the boom is 37', so they go pretty fast and heel over easily.  To counteract the tipping the boats have two long boards termed prys which the  crew use to hike themselves out.  This is the boat Michael sailed on.
